As President Samir makes sure that MetaRock Laboratories are in perfect operational condition and every clients needs are met in a timely manner. He has an extensive background in managing critical aspects of a business such as Operations and Finance. He has spent the past 20 years in the oil and gas industry designing testing equipment to better understand rock behavior under stress. This knowledge has helped our clients to develop techniques to extract as much of the contained oil and gas as possible. Some of the studies completed are Compaction, ISW, Permeability and Porosity, and the latest is unlocking the technology to perform the experiment under high temperature conditions to help researchers better understand complex behavior in difficult hydrocarbons. Adding to the technical responsibilities is leading a service company to conduct tech service work and provide to the rest of the industry innovative instrumentation and process control.

Tahir has extensive experience in electrical instrumentation, CAD design and computer systems with an ability to perform varied roles during the full life cycle of project design, development and testing in team based environments. He leverages his educational background and work experience to create value added services for our customers and strategic partners to enhance company profitability and ever expanding services in the oil and natural gas sector. Tahir is a goal oriented, pro-active Instrumentation Specialist with a relentless focus on qualitative results and customer satisfaction.

Zach has over 7 years experience in geomechanics testing ranging from building and setting up test apparatus’, tech service work, data analysis, as well as a myriad of research testing. Other areas include strain gage experience, core preparation at various stages, and customer relations.
