The High Deviation Survey Tool (HDST) provides well bore magnetic surveys in highly deviated wells.  The dimensions of the tool (12” length x 1.75“ diameter)
make it suitable in environments where conventional tools are too large to function.  This HDST is a turnkey system that consists of a winch, wire-line, load sheave, surface computer, and associated peripherals necessary for complete operation.

The HDST acquires and saves the following data:

Magnetometer/Inclinometer module:

• Magnetometer heading
• Inclination
• Temperature
• Wireline tension and speed
